A healthy lifestyle

(Dr. Robert Axelrad, 2013)
It is difficult to have a healthy lifestyle, if you are surrounded by people who love their food.
Oily food fatty food might seem as an option when you still young, but think about the future.
When you are in your early 20s and you want a sexy bikini body but all the oily food never gave you a chance.
People should start to consider how they would like to look in 5-6 years down the line
Eating healthy food does not stop you from any delicious meals; you cans still have your delicious foods that are healthy and not oily.
Eat your vegetables; drink a lot of water and most important exercise regularly.

Here are my healthy food alphabets:

    Breakfast in bed

They say "the easiest way to your man's heart is through his stomach". An easy and quick breakfast meal while his still dreaming about you in the morning is to prepare something that will give him some energy to start of his day with a full stomach. Nothing hectic and nothing that will consume your time.

    Easy,simple and 4 words.
    • Eggs
    • Chakalaka
    • Boer wors
Ladies do not just leave the food on the kitchen counter for him to get them there when he wakes up, take them to your room, kiss him good morning and serve your man. Trust me you will get all his attention after that.

    Dumpling

You know what makes me happy about being home. Waking up to a bowl covered with a blanket, and guess what the excitement is, my mom is preparing dumpling for our Sunday lunch. Nothing beats warm, sweet and delicious dumpling on a Sunday afternoon.
    The recipe for dumpling:
     Serves 5-6 people

    575ml (2¼ cup) cake flour
    250ml (1 cup) warm water
    5ml (1tsp) instant dry yeast
    5ml salt
    10ml (2 tsp) sugar

    Step by step guide:
    1. Sift all the dry ingredients into a bowl.
    2. Add water and knead.  Do not add more water if it looks dry, just continue kneading until combined.
    3. Cover the dough and let it rest at a warm place for about 30-45 minutes.
    4. Make round balls the size of a golf ball.

Leave it on the stove for 2-3 hours. To make sure that it is properly cooked inside, use a fork and press the inside of the dumpling. Easy, try it and enjoy your beautiful Sunday.
Remember to add some vegetables, beef stew or lamb stew to make the perfect Sunday lunch for you and your family.

    • 400 grams (14 ounces) mixed frozen berries
    • 120 grams (4 ounces) caster sugar ( superfine sugar)
    • Grated zest of 1 lemon

      LAYERS:
      • 500 grams (18 ounces) cream cheese
      • 1 liter (4 1/4 cups) strawberry yoghurt
      • 1 large Swiss roll ( jelly roll), cut into thin slices
      • 1 liter (4 1/4 cups) custard
      • 250 grams (9 ounces) fresh whole raspberries
      • 250 grams (9 ounces) fresh strawberries, quartered
      • Fresh mint leaves, for garnis

      Directions

For the berry sauce: Place the frozen berries in a medium saucepan and heat for a few minutes until they soften, crushing them with the fork or spoon. Add the sugar, lemon zest and 1/4 cup water and cook until thickened and reduced, for a further 5 minutes. Set aside and cool.

For the layers: Whisk the cream cheese until soft and smooth in a mixing dish. Add the yoghurt a little at a time, beating well after each addition to prevent any lumps from forming. Continue until all the yoghurt is mixed in with the cream cheese.

I really want to try this. You should also consider trying it. It looks yummy
